Welcome to the
Hawke's Bay Winegrowers Charity Wine Auction
Since its inception 21 years ago, the Hawke's Bay Winegrowers Charity Wine Auction
has become somewhat an iconic event and has raised more than $2 million for Cranford Hospice.
This year Hawke's Bay Winegrowers has renamed the event and developed a new logo to recognise the industry contribution.
To be held on Queen's Birthday Saturday, the 2nd June, this year's refreshed auction will move from a formal dinner to a more interactive cocktail style afternoon/early evening event, with bidders and guests sampling the auction lot wines and enjoying tapas style food throughout.
The auction will be divided into two sessions
during the afternoon to allow everyone to taste, share, and watch the bidding led by MC and auctioneer, Chris Tremain MP.
Once again Hawkes Bay Wineries have been extremely supportive with over 30 lots confirmed ranging from half a dozen bottles of something very special to two lots of 225 litre barrels. Three very special winemaker and degustation dinners have also been donated.
